Following an extended period of excessive laziness, I have decided to resume posting my photos. Unfortunately, a significant number of photos which I took last summer/fall are forever lost, thanks to the magic of hard drive failures, and once again, laziness (in that I never backed up the files). This includes all of my photos from my flights into Tropical Storm Gert (except the 5 which were already posted here), photos from chasing Hurricane Katrina by car in S. Florida, and some lightning photos. So in the absence of the evidence to prove otherwise, you should just imagine these lost images to be the most impressive photographs that you have never seen.

To start off the new postings, here are some photos I took of clouds at sunset in Miami in mid-December of last year.
